Jan’s Tutoring House (JTH) pairs Washington, DC children in need with a volunteer mentor.  Mentors provide one-on-one tutoring and opportunities to develop positive community values. After school and summer camp programs run by paid certified teachers and volunteers also help to reinforce these goals.  JTH provides a safe, supervised place for Washington, DC children in need to spend out-of-school time.  Children are paired with a volunteer mentor  Mentors provide one-on-one tutoring and opportunities to develop positive community values.
